Its actually 2 pm already here in Dublin but back home its 9 am. I arrived in Ireland this morning around 10 am and took a taxi to the Harding Hotel right in city centre! Its hard to get used to everyone driving on the wrong side of the street. I actually looked the wrong way for oncoming traffic when I was going to cross the street-- now I'm obviously a tourist.... just wait till I get out the Nikon. lol. So far today I've had many new encounters. First off-- the light switch. Apparently to turn lights on you flick the switch down not up. Imagine my confusion. Then came the power outlet-- I have a converter that probably took all of 30 minutes to figure out... its suppose to be universal. These things aren't as easy as they would seem. Last but not least, I taught my mom to skype and had a nice chat this morning with her and my dad.
Thats it for now, Im going to try and take a nap but there's some Irish guy outside by the cafe that is singing... loudly.... in a different language. Irish lullaby just for meee! =]
